The aim of the family-run dog hotel is to create ideal conditions for your pet, in addition to providing loving care and the living conditions you are already accustomed to at home, during a time of forced environmental change.
Location
The dog hotel is located 6 km from Budapest in the resort area bordering the Mogyoród nature reserve. We opened our gates in 2005 at the request of the owners of the dogs we taught, who wanted their dogs to be able to enjoy their time away from the owner in a familiar place, in a familiar environment, satisfying their movement and play needs.
The homely environment, the spacious garden, the several walks a day, the more than twenty years of professional background ensure a pleasant stay for your dog, even for problem dogs.
Our services
We welcome your pet in our home, in a family environment, in our heated, tiled rooms with comfortable beds, with small group accommodation. For the comfort of your dog, we provide the possibility of several (outdoor) games a day, but we also optionally serve individual wishes (extra walking, education, etc.…)
Choose the feeding according to your needs, bring your dog’s own food (canned) or cooked food, but you can also choose the food we provide (or canned according to individual needs) .
We are currently feeding super premium quality Royal Canin food.
In addition to the basic service, we also undertake forest walks, education that meets individual needs and door-to-door delivery for our guests.
Opening hours and check-in
The dog hotel is open all year round, 7 days a week. Our services can only be used after prior consultation. Prior to arrival, check-in and consultation is required at one of the contact details at the bottom of the website .

Dog hotel
- 7.000.- HUF / in case of 1 dog / started day
- 5.000.- HUF * / in case of another dog / started day
In case of your dog is in heat we charge double the price!
* Outside special period! Highlights: Christmas (December 20-January 3); Easter, National Holidays, Summer and all other school holidays
Feeding
In case we provide the dog to be fed, the following fees will be charged (based on the dog’s weight)
- Up to 10 kg ::: 600.- HUF / day
- 10-20 kg ::: 700.- HUF / day
- Up to 20-40 kg ::: 800.- HUF / day
- Over 40 kg ::: 900.- HUF / day

Other optional services
- dog training satisfying individual needs in the dog hotel: 10.000.- HUF + dog hotel fee / day
- dog training / personal counseling in your home: 10.000-20.000.- HUF / occasion
- care of sick dogs requiring veterinary supervision: price varies according to the care / need for medicines, by prior arrangement
2 or more times a day + 500.- HUF / day

Arnold Kivágó
I have been dealing with dogs since 1983, and in 1985 I received a master’s degree. I started my career as a dog trainer at the dog school in Csepel, where I conducted group training for ten years, as well as preparing for exams and competitions for sports dogs.
During the army, I trained border guard dogs, then in 2004 I graduated from the ORFK Dog Guide Training School, where I obtained a dog guide qualification with a distinguished qualification.
I have had success in many competitions with the dogs I have trained and I have been a member of the National Team several times.
In 2016, I won 1st place at the FMBB IPO World Cup, and then in 2016, I also became the FMBB IPO World Champion. In 2018 II. I won the FMBB IPO World Championship, in 2019 I won the World Cup, then III. I achieved a place in the FMBB IGP World Championship.
I consider it important to constantly learn to always be “in the picture” of modern and non-violent training techniques in the world. That’s why I keep going around the world, attending trainings, and I also hold seminars myself where I show what methodology I train my dogs to use. I have been training dogs for over 15 years. I also ran a puppy and group trainings at the dog school, where I taught both the dogs and their owners. As a result, I have extensive experience in the socialization and breeding of dogs of all breeds and ages.
I have done many successful exams with my own dogs over the years, we have started in small and large competitions, we have also started at the National Championships and the National Selection in recent years. Thanks to our preparedness and persistent work, we were able to stand on the podium in the competitions of the Hungarian Championship several times and I was able to be a member of the National Team twice.
In recent years, I have attended a number of seminars and courses, constantly expanding my professional knowledge. In 2011, I also obtained a Habilitation Dog Trainer qualification. I specialize in guide dog training where I have gained a lot of experience, both at home and in Germany.
In order to stay at the forefront with my dogs, in addition to constant learning and hard work, I need to know the latest training methodologies and incentive management techniques based on positive reinforcement, which I also benefit greatly from in competitions at the dog hotel. This way, I ensure that up to 20-30 dogs can rest carefree, in the greatest peace of mind in our pension, to the greatest delight of the owners.
My job is also my profession. I’m happy to do what I really love, because I can live without a dog but it’s not worth it.

On the one hand, at the request of the owner, we provide residential training for our “guests” arriving at the dog hotel, and on the other hand, we also provide various private training opportunities (even online) for the dogs, regardless of the boarding house .
Nowadays, we have a lot of training and education at our disposal, it is up to us to choose which one.
